AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas at Austin ranks No. 58 in the world and No. 4 among public universities in the U.S., according to the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings. Among both public and private universities in the U.S., UT Austin ranked No. 19 and the best in Texas. The QS World University Rankings were based on nine factors including academic reputation, faculty-student ratio, citations per faculty member, sustainability, employability and international research collaboration.
