FC Dallas and Austin FC will look to add another chapter to their in-state rivalry while working around a forecast of high temperatures. On Monday, MLS announced that the start time of FCD's road matchup against Austin FC would be pushed back an hour. The teams were originally scheduled to face off at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Austin. Now the match will start at 8:30 p.m. Our match on Wednesday at Austin has been moved to 8:30PM CT because Texas is hot. — FC Dallas (@FCDallas) June 19, 2023 Triple-digit temperatures have characterized forecasts across Texas, with much of the state beginning the week under some form of heat advisory.
