My experience was less than terrible. My son had went in for a dental procedure that required sedation. Not only was the staff short and rude but the dental assistant didnt seem very kid friendly. After we started the procedure we were almost done when my son started to throw up. He had a thing in his mouth sucking out all of the spit and blocking it to where he couldn't get the throw up out. When I brought it to the dentist and the dental assistant that he was throwing up they just blatantly stared at me as I rushed to get him up so he didn't aspirate on his own vomit. When done the dentist did bring us an extra shirt however the dental assistant picked up their blanket with the throw up and just left the room. not once did anyone offer to help assist or show any good signs of patient care. If I wasn't in the room I am afraid my son could have died because of how slow their reactions were to an urgent situation. As I was leaving I noticed the dental assistant speaking with the xray tech about the incident in the middle of the hallway which not only violates HIPPA but is VERY disrespectful and inconsiderate of my son and myself. The first time we went to the dentist for our first procedure I let them know my son had asthma and thought it would be put it in the chart. It was not. I mentioned to the dentist on the following appt about how my son had shallow breathing for about 3 hours after his last procedure and he informed me it was because the medication he was given was not recommended for asthmatic patients. I assumed we would have a better experience after the first time but that was a huge mistake. We will not be back.
