This was my first time river tubing and I had an awesome time. I went on Friday, 8/18/17 with my daughter and we tubed down the San Marcos River. Our tour guides Sally and Sam were great. They were very helpful and made sure everyone was ok and was having a good time. The 10:30 group I was with was a fun group of people, everyone helped each other. The trip was about 5+ hours from pickup to drop off. I wore swim shoes but, noticed a lot of people didn't, they regretted it later, because of the rocky bottom and the hot concrete and dirt at the end. If you use a camera or phone, I suggest it be waterproof. I had a waterproof case for our phones but, my daughter flipped over and had not closed the case and messed up her phone. You can also leave your phone and valuables on the bus as they suggest to keep them safe. It was very relaxing and fun. I recommend ATXcursions and would use them again!!!
